Administrator Training Program

Mission Statement:
AB430 provides state funding for professional development focused on building principals' leadership skills and capacity to serve effectively in their critical and complex roles. Understanding the national, state, and local vision and mission of preparing all students to master world-class grade-level content standards is a critical component of AB430 training.

This training will cover three integrated modules designed to support this new practice:

  1. Leadership and Support of Student Instructional Programs.
  2. Leadership and Management for Instructional Improvement; Maximizing Financial and Human Resources.
  3. Instructional Technology to Improve Pupil Performance.

Core Contents

  • Mastering the Use of Formative and Summative Data.
  • Using Newly Adopted Instructional Materials.
  • Creating a Single School Plan.
  • Establishing the Culture and Climate in a New System.
  • Aligning Teacher Observation & Instructional Support.
  • Maximizing the Use of Technological Resources.
  • Optimizing Site Financial and Personnel Management.
