The Region 2 Service Learning Committee serves the nine counties of northeastern California through support, development, advocacy, and promotion of high quality instruction and curriculum for grades kindergarten through higher education in Service Learning and Civic Education. The purpose of the Region 2 Service Learning Committee is to support student achievement through the following goals:

• To sponsor and support effective Service Learning curriculum, projects, and programs.
• To identify and support implementation of effective strategies in delivering high quality Service Learning instruction.
• To distribute and disseminate important information related to Service Learning education.
• To support, develop, and maintain an effective Service Learning network throughout the region.
